City of Holland Announces New “No Knock List” for Residents 

The City of Holland is pleased to announce that residents can now sign up for the City’s No Knock List.

Residents who do not wish to receive visits from solicitors may complete a No Knock List Request Form and submit it to City Hall. Once your address is added to the list, solicitors will be notified that they are not allowed to solicit at your residence.

All solicitors who wish to operate within the City of Holland must first obtain a permit from City Hall. Approved solicitors will have:

A valid permit issued by the City, and

A sticker displayed in a visible location on their clothing

If a solicitor comes to your home without a visible permit or sticker, please report it to City Hall. They will be instructed to come obtain a permit. If the contact occurs after City Hall’s normal business hours, the individual may be asked to leave the city.

This program helps ensure that residents who prefer not to be contacted by solicitors can enjoy their privacy while allowing permitted businesses to operate responsibly within the city.
