one-dollar, “City Street Maintenance and Repair Utility Fee”

The one-dollar, “City Street Maintenance and Repair Utility Fee” initially placed on the September Holland Utility Bill will be discontinued. The fee was authorized after proper notice and review by prior council. It was initially collected after a summary fee schedule was approved by council in 2021. Yet any completed payments of the fee will be refunded. This will allow the current council to consider this fee and other statutorily authorized methods for recovering the cost of providing utility services.
