Main Water Supply line will be down; all residents to conserve water for essential use only during this period (July 8)

Important Notice: Water Conservation Advisory for July 8
Dear Residents,
CTWSC will be performing a pipe replacement project involving approximately 1,500 feet of transmission line under I-35 between Salado and Belton. This line is a key supply line that feeds our water system. As part of this project, they will need to temporarily shut down the line to connect the new section.
Although this work is not expected to cause a water outage, we will be operating from the water supply stored in CTWSC’s tower on Blackberry Rd during the project. However, as with any large infrastructure project, there is always a possibility of delays or complications.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are asking all residents to limit water usage to essential needs only on Tuesday, July 8.
Please refrain from any non-essential water use, including:
-
Lawn or landscape irrigation
-
Car washing
-
Filling pools or other recreational uses
Water should only be used for basic household needs and fire protection on that day.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. Once the project is completed and we receive confirmation that the system is back to normal, we will notify you that regular water usage may resume.
